We are all facing uncertain times. With school closures and much of the workforce significantly affected by COVID-19, many people are wondering what they can do to help. We have outlined a few ways you can consider giving back to local, national or global efforts that support the most vulnerable populations affected by the pandemic.
Our team wants to do our part and are proud to announce that Fire Capital has decided to make donations to Feeding America, Meals on Wheels, Global Giving and The San Francisco Foundation from our Impact Fund.

Food banks are facing an increased demand as they help to fill the gap providing emergency food boxes for children and families while schools are closed. They are also helping to secure more food assistance for low-income workers who are struggling with getting as many hours as they usually do. Donating money instead of supplies gives them the flexibility of what goods are needed most.

Senior citizens are at the greatest risk during this time as they are particularly susceptible to the virus. Because of the extra precautions for seniors to stay home, there is an increased demand for services that can provide meal delivery and a way to check in on these isolated seniors.
